MetroCooking DC Health and Safety Protocols

MetroCooking DC is committed to working with the venue, service providers, and vendors to customize a “health safety first” approach throughout all phases of event production and onsite execution. We will be following the recommended local government and CDC guidelines. As organizers, our goal is simple, there is no better strategy than prioritizing event health and security so we can provide everyone with the reassurance and confidence that they are participating in a safe and controlled environment.  Please review our safety requirements needed to enter the event:

MetroCooking DC will feature hand-sanitation units, daily staff temperature screenings, enhanced cleaning, and additional measures implemented.

Attendees are required to wear a facemask when they are not actively engaging in eating or drinking.

Based on today’s science, we understand vaccines offer us the best hope for stopping the spread of COVID-19. MetroCooking DC will require all staff to be fully vaccinated.

Signage will be displayed throughout the venue to remind everyone of the enhanced health and safety measures that are in place, and our expectations of all visitors.

Please do not come to The MetroCooking DC Show if you or a member of your household has had any of the following symptoms within the past 14 days of the event date: sore throat, chills, shortness of breath, fever of more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, loss of smell or taste, prolonged headaches.

By entering The MetroCooking DC Show, you are affirming that you do not have or are not experience any symptoms of COVID-19, you have not had close contact with anyone who has had symptoms of COVID-19; and that you have not traveled here from anywhere that requires quarantine.

All participants should follow CDC and local guidance.

Note: Disposable facemasks will be available complimentary at the entrance unit upon request.
